Stan Wawrinka has faced off against Novak Djokovic on multiple occasions. Their head-to-head clashes stand at 20-6, with Novak in the lead. At the press conference after his second-round win at Wimbledon, Stan was asked about his next match against none other than the Serbian 2nd seed in the next round. And with the conversation he had with the press, it looks like Stan has admitted defeat against the Serbian even before heading to court, saying he has ‘NO CHANCE’ of winning this match.
As per the 38-year-old himself, he has no chance of possibly winning the match against Novak Djokovic. ‘’There’s zero opportunity to win Wimbledon for me,” said Stan.
He further added that he was happy with his second-round match and that he thought it was a great match. Stan also said he thinks it is an honor to be playing against him at Wimbledon and how he missed playing him in a Grand Slam and in his career.
Stan continued saying how this match is definitely gonna be easy and not easy but he thinks hopefully he can make it a competitive match. ‘’Hopefully, I can make a competitive match, but if you will look at recent results, I don’t really stand a chance’’
