Former two-division champion Henry Cejudo wanted UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski’s attention for a title fight but instead, Volkanovski’s teammate of City Kickboxing, Kai Kara France, puts Cejudo to notice. Cejudo has been on a been putting one hell of a rally on Twitter asking UFC President Dana White for a title shot against Volkanovski at UFC 272, after it was reported that Volkanovski’s original opponent, Max Holloway, was out due to injury.

Now as Cejudo keeps on using his keyboard for spamming on demanding the title shot, UFC Flyweight Kai Kara France had some advice for the former UFC champion. France’s rise in the flyweight division was put to the world’s eyes last month at UFC 269 when he knocked out former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt in the first round. Cejudo, who’s currently in a retired status, last fought in April of 2020 when he defended his bantamweight championship and defeated Dominick Cruz via first round knockout.

Recently, just like many of his tweets, Cejudo put out another Tweet to let Dana White know that he is more than and most interested to fill in for the vacant as Volkanovski’s opponent at UFC 272. It’s unclear if White or even Volkanovski for that matter are reading Cejudo’s tweets or not, regardless, he tweeted “Hey @danawhite give me a shot at Alex. I would never cancel. I’m Mexican and we don’t believe in pulling out of anything.”

This is when Kai Kara France jumped in to let Cejudo warn of his teammate in Volkanovski, and therefore, thought it was obligatory for something to Cejudo to ponder upon, he tweeted Stay retired mate! Trust me, You don’t want Volk walking you down!”

What did you make of France’s assessment of Cejudo going against Volkanovski? Do you think Cejudo has a chance of defeating Volkanovski despite being out for almost 2 years? How about a fight between France and Cejudo, who do you think wins?
