Domenicali suggested that it might be possible to include Sprint races in up to a third of the races each season. However, he also noted that there are several issues surrounding this idea that are still open to debate, meaning that not everyone agrees on how to implement such a change.
I think we’re not in a position to say that we’re going to be like MotoGP , for example, with a full calendar race situation with Sprint. But there is scope to grow, maybe to a third of the calendar . That could be a possibility. And then of course there are certain issues that are always quite debatable.Stefano Domenicali said via Autosport.com.

He considered the possibility of either altering the entire grid or just half of it, similar to the formats used in F2 and F3. The 59-year old believed it is important to remain open to these kinds of changes to keep the races engaging and interesting for fans.
We can really go back to discussing whether we need to invert the grid, or half the grid like what F2 and F3 are doing. So these are always things to keep the mind open, if I may say, with the intention of always keeping something interestingStefano Domenicali added.

Personally, I would say, 'why not?' There's a lot of action, there's overtaking, there's fighting for points. Some people might say, 'oh, it's a false way of racing'. False? There's nothing false about what you think is the right format to produce great action.Stefano Domenicali stated.
