With the year coming to a close, tennis players are seen training and sweating it out at the court or in the gym in the extended off-season ahead of the tournaments coming up in 2021. More so than any player, it is the World No.6 of men’s tennis, Stefanos Tsitsipas who seems to not be wasting a second of his precious time.

The Greek international had gone to London to undergo a special therapy named ‘TECAR’ earlier this month in order to improve his physical recovery for the entirety of 2021. He has now been seen putting in the work physically on a beach doing his reps with utmost intensity.

Following a remarkable season in 2019, Tsitsipas could not get hands on glory this year. However, on a brighter side, the highest ranked Greek has utilized his time during the off-season in a way that is making fans expect big things from the 2019 ATP Finals winner.

Tsitsipas looks in great shape

Tennis is an injury-prone sport and demands proper rest for a full recovery. Fortunately, Tsitsipas’ poor run at the ATP Finals this year helped him get extra time to put on his physical strength. As a result, Tsitsipas looks in top-notch once again.

The highest-ranked Greek professional was seen doing reps on the beach with high intensity recently. Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, where Tsitsipas is a trainee under coach Patrick Mouratoglou uploaded the video of the World No. 6 getting those reps in on the beach.

Coach Mouratoglou, who is also the coach of all-time great Serena Williams, expressed belief that Tsitsipas can win big titles. The effort that the 2020 Roland Garros semi-finalist is putting in is bound to benefit him when the time arrives. A little progress each day compounds into something really big and beneficial for anyone who puts in the amount of work Tsitsipas has.

The Greek is destined to play the opening Grand Slam in Melbourne however, there is still no confirmation on whether he will play the ATP Cup before. Nevertheless, Tsitsipas is going strong into the new year with a renewed agenda and personal goals.
