Greek tennis ace Stefanos Tsitsipas shared a hilarious post on social media wherein he talked about a tennis player’s diet. Tsitsipas joked that 70% of a tennis player’s diet is hoping that a match does not go to the fifth set. The Greek ace attributed the rest 30% to protein and carbs.
Tsitsipas, known for his witty remarks, made this post on Wednesday. He showed his unwillingness to play a fifth set by joking about it playing on his mind. The 26-year-old did not write anything else and just posted this one-liner.

Although he himself does not like to play five-setters, Stefanos Tsitsipas was all praise for Carlos Alcaraz who won the 2024 Roland Garros title after playing a thrilling five-setter in the final. Tsitsipas patted Alcaraz’s back after the Spaniard lifted the title in Paris as he sent a congratulatory message to the new French Open champion.
The Greek ace expressed happiness at Alcaraz fulfilling his dream. Tsitsipas wrote on X, “Congratulations on winning Roland Garros” while tagging Alcaraz in the post. “It was your dream and you achieved it.”
It is worth mentioning that Alcaraz marched into the final after defeating Tsitsipas in the quarterfinal. The Spaniard dominated his opponent again as Alcaraz won the match 6-3, 7-6, 6-4. Despite this thrashing, Tstsipas celebrated the Spaniard’s success.
He went on to heap massive praise on Alcaraz and called the 21-year-old Spaniard too good. Tsitsipas admitted that Alcaraz pushes him to limits every time they play each other. The 26-year-old also believes that he needs to find a way to beat the Spaniard.
