Stefanos Tsitsipas puts up a dominant show of tennis to win his third Monte Carlo title. Having won two back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022, the Greek even tried his best in 2023 but fell just short of the semi-finals.

Having not started well in 2024, the Greek had high expectations for Monte Carlo, and he lived up to them. From the get-go, he put up a show to remember that was worthy enough for him to register his third title in Monaco.

He faced a bit of a hiccup in the semi-finals against Jannik Sinner. However, despite the challenge, he fought an uphill battle to beat the unbeatable Sinner.

Carrying the same momentum ahead, the Greek cruised past Ruud as well. He had a hand in the trophy after a first-set win but managed to keep his calm against Ruud to break him in the last set and win the match.

Tsitsipas won 6-1, 6-4 to seal his 11th career title. That’s not all; this is his third title in Monaco and also his third Top 10 win this week. After a tough year so far, the Greek finally got his maiden title of the year, giving him immense confidence ahead of the French Open.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, the man in form, gets the better of his opponent Casper Ruud. After starting off great, he finished the match even better, not allowing the Norwegian to take it to a decider set.

It is very unfortunate for Ruud, who has a history of failed finals. Since last year, he has played extremely well until the finals and did not clinch the title.

This is his third final since the Australian Open, and he has failed to perform in every single one of them. Hopeful to do better, he proudly takes the runner-up trophy.

On the other end, Tsitsipas is out of the world after the win. It was a rather emotional journey for the Greek, who had had a bad year so far.

After getting out of the top-10, he immediately leveled up and is back in the rankings. This is the start of the clay season, and Tsitsipas is well on the run for an incredible season leading up to the French Open.
