If Cardi B wasn’t already head over heels for Stefon Diggs, she has every reason to be now, with her man gearing up to play in Super Bowl LX. It happened thanks to Diggs, who played a crucial role in helping the New England Patriots beat the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game.
It wasn’t pretty. The weather was horrible, quarterbacks threw wayward passes, both defenses controlled the flow, but eventually New England emerged victorious. Denver should hold its head high. Sean Payton‘s team made it this far with a second-year QB who got injured and had to play with the backup, who threw his first competitive pass in over two years.
Either way, it was the Patriots’ show from beginning to end, much like the way Cardi B commands the stage at her concerts. Fans of the “Bodak Yellow” composer have seen it happen countless times over the years. This time, she got to be the fan, soaking in all the joy of watching Diggs finally get over the hump.
When the officials blew the final whistle at Mile High, she quickly joined Diggs and the rest of the Patriots squad on the field to celebrate the winning moment. “WE’RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL,” Cardi shouted at the camera.

Stefon Diggs and Cardi B share a special moment after the Patriots won the AFC Championship game
Diggs’ career has been laden with many disappointments. Despite receiving passes from Kirk Cousins, Josh Allen, and CJ Stroud over the years, Diggs had never stepped foot on a Super Bowl pitch.

He was part of the Bills team that fell to the Chiefs in the AFC title game a few years back. Now, he can proudly add a Super Bowl participation medal to his CV (unless something major takes place). And he achieved it in front of the love of his life and baby mama, Cardi.
An occasion such as this calls for a little display of affection. Right after Diggs caught up with her green-haired rapper, the pair embraced and exchanged a quick kiss before the veteran wideout took center stage on the winner’s podium.

An “excited” Cardi B makes her stance clear on Stefon Diggs’ resurgence as an NFL player
NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe had the chance to conduct an exclusive scoop with the “Wap” singer after the dust settled and the snow piled on the turf. Wolfe asked her to share what it was like watching Diggs become king of the AFC.
I’m feeling very excited. I’m very happy for [Stefon], very proud of him. You know, he just came back from the ACL, and we seen the progress and the process of him going through that. From the first time he started running back and now joining the Patriots, and then actually going to the Super Bowl, I’m just very excited for him and excited for the whole team, they’ve been working they bu** out.

It’s heartwarming to see the 33-year-old genuinely excited about something, especially after all she’s been through with her ex-husband over the past few years. Football has breathed new life into her, and it’s all thanks to Diggs, who introduced her to the sport.
She wasn’t a football girl before I converted her over. But, I’m just thankful to have her in my corner … I don’t talk too much about my personal life, but she’s an amazing woman.

She has totally embraced the Patriot way. Only a true fan has the guts and the grit to call out the entire ESPN staff for writing off her team. Patriots and Diggs are lucky to have her as their ally and well-wisher, and she’s fortunate to have them both. Next stop: California, for a Super Bowl showdown with the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium on February 8.
