Is Stefon Diggs already unhappy at the Houston Texans? A heated exchange with CJ Stroud during their pre-season game against the Pittsburgh Steelers does point in that direction.
Diggs did not play in the game, but wore his fresh Texans jersey and assumed the role of a leader on the bench. His team took a 7-0 lead after Stroud threw a dime to second-year receiver Tank Dell and then came off.
The clock flashed 5 and a half minutes until the end of the first quarter, when the cameraman saw something interesting going down at the Texans’ dugout. He pointed to the camera and saw an animated Diggs arguing with his quarterback, Stroud. However, the camera did not catch their conversation, so the subject matter of their argument remains unclear.

Is Stefon Diggs really unhappy at the Houston Texans?
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini visited the Texans camp before their first pre-season game, where she spoke with head coach DeMeco Ryans about Diggs and how the all-pro receiver has adapted to life since moving from Buffalo. Russini noticed something she first saw back when Diggs played college ball in Maryland—he was happy for a change.
The unceremonious end to the 30-year-old’s career with the Bills and Josh Allen seemed to be in the distant past as Diggs emersed himself in running the playbook. Ryans was reportedly impressed by how the 4-time Pro Bowler managed to win over the locker room in such a short amount of time.
I love [Stefon] Diggs. He’s off the charts as a leader, off the charts as a player and a person.DeMeco Ryans said per Russini
Being one of the veteran members of the Texans squad, Diggs aspires to become one of the team captains in the future, which is great news for the Texans. The happier Diggs is, the better he will deliver for them.

Backup quarterback Case Keenum, who shared a locker room with Diggs in Minnesota, and then Buffalo claimed the star wideout is hungrier than ever.
I see a guy that is hungry for more. He has been there—tasted it—doesn't just want to get there; he wants to win it [the Super Bowl].Case Keenum said
The Texans are already in love with Diggs, as after beating the Steelers 20-12, he was seen signing an autograph on the new Texans’ jersey and even gave away his cap to a young supporter.
