Stefon Diggs ditched New England for New York on Monday. Well, not permanently, because he signed a contract with the Patriots in March. The veteran wide receiver was in the city that never sleeps with his rumored celebrity girlfriend, Cardi B.

The paparazzi caught wind of the couple’s whereabouts and flocked outside Madison Square Garden. Diggs led the popular rapper into the arena without stopping for any chit-chat.

They were at the famous arena to watch the New York Knicks face the defending NBA champions, the Boston Celtics, in game four of the 2025 NBA Finals. As it turned out, Diggs and Cardi weren’t the only celebs on the floor.

Dune actor Timothée Chalamet and his girlfriend and supermodel Kylie Jenner took the front row seats right next to the NFL couple. Chalamet was undeniably cheering for the Knicks. His oversized T-shirt screamed where his allegiance belonged.

Diggs’ preference, on the other hand, remains a mystery. He’s contracted to the Patriots, a club from Boston. So, in that sense, he should be in the Celtics’ corner, but that information remains in the dark for now because he cheered during every basket.

If he is a Knicks fan like Chalamet, then the night went exactly as he had planned. Judging by the hugs and kisses at full time, Diggs enjoyed the Knicks’ thrashing of the Celtics 121-113 to take a 3-1 lead in the series.

Star player Jalen Brunson was in top form once again for the Knicks. He contributed 12 assists and 5 rebounds, adding 39 points. Last year’s All-Star Jayson Tatum added 42 points, but it wasn’t enough to restore parity in the tie.

Now that the game was over, Diggs and Cardi had to navigate their way back to the car. It’s easier said than done when every paparazzi wants to take a snap of the pair for their respective gossip columns.

Fortunately for Cardi, she had Diggs to shield her from infringements. Post-game footage showed that the Pro Bowl receiver guided his partner through the packed porch of the Madison.

This wasn’t the first time the paps filmed Diggs with the Rodio singer. They spent time together on this year’s Valentine’s Day.

Everyone gets excited when an NFL player dates a famous celebrity. Both Travis Kelce and Josh Allen are well familiar with it.

Kelce is currently dating Grammy-winning singer Taylor Swift. They were recently seen celebrating Mother’s Day with Donna Kelce.

As for Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback and the 2024 NFL MVP, he is engaged to Marvel star Hailee Steinfeld. Unlike Kelce-Swift, Allen and Steinfeld prefer to keep their romance away from the prying eyes of the media, occasionally surfacing at an event. Most recently, the lovebirds were snapped smooching at the premiere of Steinfeld’s new movie, ‘The Sinners.’
