Stefon Diggs seen as solution, not problem, in Houston as per Offensive Coordinator: “He’s one of us”
It is widely viewed that Stefon Diggs was eventually a problem on his previous teams.

In the NFL, wide receiver is that one position, where flair and a larger-than-life personality are evident. These characteristics have caused many to fall out with teammates, coaches, and even the front office. Stefon Diggs is one such elite wideout.
Now with the Houston Texans, his attitude is what most are worried about. However, Offensive Coordinator Bobby Slowik is all praise for his new No. 1 receiver.
The second-year OC faced questions as part of the coordinator’s media day. A reporter asked him about how Stefon Diggs has settled in with the team.
I just love his personality. He’s extremely competitive, he’s got energy, he’s got juice. He’s fun to be around. But at the same time, he wants to be the best he can possibly be. He wants to be coached, he wants to help teach young guys. He wants to be a leader, he also wants other guys in the room, to coach him and to teach him. He’s one of us. He’s a competitor, he loves football and he’s been a great dude.Bobby Slowik said
This glowing praise suggests the OC is happy with his elite receiver. After all, he brings a certain mentality which can be good for the rest of the offense.
As Bobby Slowik said, Stefon Diggs wants to win. He was winning when he was with the Buffalo Bills. However, he saw his role diminish towards the end of last season and his constant issues with quarterback Josh Allen saw him leave.
Stefon Diggs elevates the Houston Texans
Last season, the Houston Texans surprised everyone. They showed that they have the hunger to win, and at the same time, knew they needed some upgrades. With Stefon Diggs’ arrival, the Texans solved two needs with one player. Diggs brings his wealth of experience playing in the playoffs. Something his new younger teammates lack.
Secondly, his play will push the rest of the team to elevate their standards. If the Divisional Playoffs were the standard last season, this year they are targeting a Super Bowl. For Diggs, that is the ultimate goal. Now, alongside two more Pro-Bowl caliber receivers and a tight end, the offense is expected to explode.
Fortunately for them, Bobby Slowik has continued as their Offensive Coordinator. That gives them a solid base from which they can improve upon. All Diggs has to do is to play at his best and be the leader of a group of great young players.
