When Stefon Diggs parted ways with the Buffalo Bills, it was widely considered that he burned all the bridges, not with the team, but with quarterback Josh Allen. But after seeing him support his former teammate’s bid for the NFL MVP honors, things seemingly aren’t as ugly between them as they appeared.
After his infamous departure from the Bills, Diggs landed in the Houston Texans and things were amazing until he tore his ACL just eight weeks into the 2024 season. Since he has had time during his recovery, he had an opportunity to keep an eye on his former teammate Allen’s recent performances, which has made him a heavy favorite for the MVP honor despite the tough competition from the Eagles’ Saquon Barkley.
During a recent appearance on NFL Network, the star wide receiver expressed his confidence in Allen winning the MVP without any doubts, believing he is the most deserving.

Even though Diggs’ campaign with CJ Stroud and Houston may not have gone as he expected, he holds no ill will towards his former team, the Bills, who are currently leading the AFC East and are strong Super Bowl contenders.
Josh Allen opens up about fiancée Hailee Steinfeld’s impact on his stellar 2024 season
With each passing week, the Bills’ star quarterback is solidifying his odds to win the prestigious MVP honor. But if there’s anyone whom he credits for MVP-caliber season in 2024, it is his fiancee Hailee Steinfeld.
In a conversation with The Associated Press’s John Wawrow, Allen opened up about the influence Steinfeld had on his life and credited her support for his success this season.
Allen and Steinfeld have been together since April 2023. However, they kept their relationship lowkey throughout the season. Perhaps, the Hollywood actress’s presence in his life was exactly what Allen needed to anchor himself and end the Bills’ long-standing Super Bowl drought this season.
