On Wednesday night, the Boston Celtics witnessed one of the all-time classic performances by the Golden State Warriors and their star man, Steph Curry. The Warriors outperformed the Celtics on their home ground, the TD Garden, which left the Boston fans frustrated. Curry and the Warriors have a track record of defeating superteams in the past.
This performance by them was another one which proved to be a horror for the home fans. During the 4th quarter, a lot went down between the two sides. Curry was spotted dancing, and Warriors star defender Draymond Green was seen ‘shushing’ the home fans. In the middle of all this, Warriors’ Buddy Hield proved to be a significant addition to their roster.
With 47 seconds remaining, Hield gave the Warriors a seven-point lead as he contributed 16 points and four threes, including a dagger three. It is safe to say he continued his scorching bench scoring. On his way to a game-high +20 plus/minus, he also had a strong finish late against Celtics star defender Derrick White, the NBA’s top shot-blocking guard.

In the Warriors’ 118–112 victory, Curry delivered a monstrous performance. He extended his side record to 7-1 and handed the Celtics their first home defeat of the year. Curry put on a solid effort, scoring 27 points on 17 shots, pulling down seven rebounds, and dishing out nine assists. After a promising start, Curry and Co. will look to taste some much-needed success this season.
Steph Curry drops ‘cold’ reaction after beating Celtics at the TD Garden
Steph Curry and the Warriors are on a roll this 2024-25 NBA season. They most recently defeated the Boston Celtics in their own yard at the TD Garden. With this win, the Warriors are now 7-1 in the Western Conference. In addition, the Warriors are now on a 5-game winning streak after beating the Celtics by 118-112.
Conversely, the Celtics lost for the second time this season and the first time in the last four games. Shortly after defeating the Celtics on their own court, the Warriors point guard Curry gave a chilly two-word response as he made his way to the locker room. Steph Curry said, “Always good” regarding the win against the Celtics.
"Always good."
