Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is arguably the best shooter the NBA has ever seen. Curry alongside his former teammate Klay Thompson started the three-point revolution in the NBA. Recently Curry was part of the Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics, playing an integral role in the gold medal victory.

In the finals, Stephen Curry had one of the most dominant plays in the Olympics history. His clutch threes in the end moments of the game secured USA the victory and the medal. Curry even crushed the hopes of France’s comeback in the fourth quarter. Recently on the show “Get Up,” ESPN’s Mike Greenberg talked about Curry’s clutch shots against France.

On the show, Greenberg stated that the shot Curry made over two French defenders was the most memorable shot in history. He even added how tough of a shot it was and felt only Curry could have made it. The shot carried a lot of importance as it certainly sealed the deal for the USA and it was one of the most heartbreaking sights for all the French fans.

Think about if we don't win that game. Think about the reaction if Team USA loses that day, and we were in significant jeopardy of doing just that. After the show former NBA star Austin Rivers posted on X and stated that Greenberg’s comment about Curry’s shot was absurd. Many even pointed out that the USA was already up by six points and would have eventually won the game. But the shot will certainly go down as one of the most notable moments of Olympics in the recent history.

Stephen Curry finally won the gold medal in the Olympics and he certainly did it in the most convincing way. In the Finals USA went up against the host France, it was certainly a thrilling game.

In the clutch moments of the game France were looking to make a comeback but Curry had one of the best heat checks in basketball. Curry went on to shoot four 3’s in the final quarter which certainly sealed the victory for Team USA. After the game Rapper Action Bronson praised Curry and even stated that his dominant performance pushed him to wear Under Armour sneakers.

Curry is signed with Under Armour and is one of the main faces of the brand. He has certainly helped the brand grow, even choosing Under Armour over brands like Nike and Adidas.
