Stephanie McMahon discusses the future of WWE events


WWE has been airing their shows live from their Thunderdome. Thunderdome allows the fans to attend the shows virtually. WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon recently provided updates on the future of WWE live events.
McMahon mentioned that WWE is planning to merge the real and the virtual worlds. The four-time Most Powerful Women in Cable honoree has been a key figure for WWE. She contributes to the company, backstage as well as with in-ring performances.
In a recent interview, Stephanie McMahon mentioned that the WWE Thunderdome has changed fan engagement completely. She discussed the future plans of the company, in an interview with TV Insider.
“Our fans are our secret sauce. When we pivoted to the ThunderDome, we brought our fans back as well as the lights, the lasers, the pyro. There is an intersection of technology and live attendance. It happened faster than I think anyone anticipated, but we are absolutely looking to merge those worlds together the biggest and best way we possibly can.”

WWE, just like most of the companies all over the globe had to cut down personnel. The reason being the pandemic outbreak. With less personnel, key figures, like Stephanie have been burdened with more responsibilities. ‘
After the personnel shrunk, McMahon was given the additional responsibility of managing the Global Sales and Partnerships. WWE Thunderdome is currently located at the Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay.
