Ever since her debut, Stephanie Vaquer has proved why she is currently one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world. In such a short amount of time, she has become the first woman to hold both the NXT North American Women’s Title and the NXT Women’s Title. On March 29, Vaquer celebrated her birthday, and she shared how special it was on social media.

The 32-year-old star took to X and thanked everyone who wished her on her birthday. She went to a UFC event in Mexico; there, everybody sang her a song on her birthday and even gave her a surprise gift. The double champion expressed gratitude for representing WWE at a UFC event.

Speaking about her WWE run, the journey of Stephanie Vaquer winning both titles has been exciting to say the least. At NXT: New Year’s Evil, she became the number one contender for the NXT Women’s North American Title by winning a Fatal 4 Way match. After a month, The Dark Angel defeated Fallon Henley at NXT: Vengeance Day to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion.

Her latest title win came at the expense of the NXT Women’s Champion Giulia. Both were determined to prove that they were the best champions on the brand. Vaquer and Giulia met in a Winner Takes All match at NXT: Roadblock. The 32-year-old star defeated her archrival and became the first female double champion in NXT history.

Stephanie Vaquer defended both of her titles on the latest episode of NXT

Stephanie Vaquer being a double champion meant she would always have several targets on her back. However, The Dark Angel proved that she was a fighting champion by defending both titles on the same night. When Henley and Jaida Parker both challenged her for the titles on the same night, Vaquer didn’t hesitate and agreed to the challenge.

On the March 25 episode of NXT, she first defended her NXT Women’s Title against Parker. In the match, which went on for almost 10 mins, La Primera defeated her and retained her title. Later in the main event, despite the dangerous Fatal Influence roaming outside, Vaquer defeated Henley to retain the NXT Women’s North American title.

The challenges are not over for her, however, as, like Fenley and Parker, many more challengers are waiting to get their hands on the title. Stars like Jordynne Grace, Sol Ruca, Zaria, and Kelani Jordan and more are next in line to challenge Vaquer. It will be interesting to see who steps up and challenges the double champion for the titles.

Will Jordynne Grace be Stephanie Vaquer’s new challenger??

Although Vaquer proved how tough she was when she beat both Henley and Parker on the same night, it wouldn’t have been possible without Grace. First, she helped the champion fend off Parker with a distraction and then saved her from The Fatal Influence. However, her eyes were on the price as well, which The Dark Angel realized quickly.

Both stars ended the show standing face-to-face, making Grace’s intention clear that she was coming for the titles. If that happens, this will be the second time The Juggernaut challenges for the NXT Women’s Title. The first time she did was against Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground last year, where she unfortunately lost.

In 2025, Grace entered the Women’s Royal Rumble with the intentions of winning it. However, she was ultimately eliminated by Giulia. Since then, she has defeated the likes of Perez and Cora Jade on NXT. Needless to say, Vaquer will be a whole new mountain for her to climb.
