President Donald Trump routinely likes to put his own twists on things. Sometimes, the humor in it leaves citizens in stitches. Whereas during other times, as in the recent AI video depicting his predecessor Barack Obama, not many are happy with it.
The President’s Truth Social account ran an AI-generated video trolling his Democratic adversaries by depicting them as animals. The version shared by the 47th President did not show Hillary Clinton as a boar or House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries as a meerkat.
But they did show California Governor Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as donkeys. Then came the section that has since caused an extreme backlash against Donald Trump and his administration.

As the song ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight‘ played in the background, the video shows the current President as a lion, with Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, superimposed onto the bodies of monkeys.
The guy in the White House, using his administration to tell you he had nothing to do with the post that has his fingerprints, and his smell and his stench written all over it… That same man must be universally condemned for having his platform associated with such an insulting, classless, despicable post that was on his platform for 12 hours.
Stephen A. Smith said on his show
Donald Trump’s actions on social media need to be universally condemned.

This was Stephen A. Smith, who went scorched earth on the President for sharing the video on his Truth Social. Then, through his press secretary Karoline Leavitt, trying to deflect it as being something humorous, and then deleted it 12 hours after facing severe backlash.
Stephen A. Smith believes Donald Trump has proven he is a racist
This was Stephen A. Smith taking time out of his busy Super Bowl 60 schedule to film this video to voice his opinion about Donald Trump’s latest blunder.

I’ve told y’all on many occasions. If it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, it ain’t a damn mongoose. It’s what it is. His behavior, his tendencies, his rhetoric, his petulance, his belligerence, all fall in line with what we’re talking about right now.
Stephen A. Smith said
The 58-year-old has, in the past, sometimes supported the current President for his decisions in some areas, and even earned an endorsement from Trump to run in the 2028 election.
But Smith has also criticized the 47th President and his administration for some of his actions. Now, he believes that with this AI-generated video, there is enough evidence that Donald Trump is a racist.
Stephen A. Smith sends a message to citizens
As the White House continues to grapple with the backlash coming from all quarters, Stephen A. Smith wants the ‘decent’ citizens of the country to distance themselves from this rhetoric.
See, this is the B.S. that can’t be tolerated by this Admin. The White House can try to spin this anyway it wants — claiming it’s “Fake News,” and that someone altered the damn video — but if you were sensitive, thoughtful, and decent, you’re not connected to something this shameful.
Stephen A. Smith wrote on X
The longtime analyst believes that those who have liked or shared or even supported Donald Trump depicting the Obamas as apes have proved what they think about the Black community, no matter how much they try to dismiss it.

Smith hopes those who are decent should not be connected to something as shameful and degrading as this ‘disgusting’ attempt from Trump.
Unless the weekend’s sporting festivities, which also feature some anti-Trump agendas, take over, expect Smith to continue bringing up this AI-generated situation over the next few days.
