Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James have been battling it out on social media for a couple of weeks now, and no one seems to be backing down. In a recent retort from the NBA star, he mocked the sportscaster over some of his bold comments made in the comfort of his place. With his post, James started a row of Hollywood stars joining in on the fun.
Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James got involved in an altercation during one of the latter’s matches. Soon after the silence on both ends, the sports commentator went on a tirade aimed at the NBA MVP. In one of his rants, he assured his audience of his capability to throw hands at James, should the need have occurred.
Smith’s claims had since then been an object of trolling on the internet, considering the absurdity of it. LeBron James also went ahead to jest the podcaster with a hilarious video on his Instagram account. Along with a video of Stephen Smith boxing, he posted a mocking caption and no less than fourteen laughing emojis.
The ongoing drama is one of the most-talked about off-the-court topics in sports at the moment. With the scale it has reached, it was inevitable for it to break free from the NBA. As it turns out, it reached Hollywood, considering the comments on LeBron James’ post.

Renowned celebrities, the likes of Jamie Foxx, Lamorne Morris, shared their amusement, joining other personalities from the industry. Rappers Key Glock, G Herbo, DJ Stakz, 2 Chainz, and DaBaby were only some of them.
The online spat came after the internet had had a good amount of conditioning as a result of LeBron James’ public confrontation with Stephen Smith. Earlier this month, the Lakers sensation approached the ESPN personality after the third quarter of his match against the New York Knicks.
With the cameras rolling, James warned Smith of not starting it up with his son and fellow Laker, Bronny James. While everybody thought it was regarding the outspoken personality’s critical take on Bronny, James later explained it on his appearance at The Pat McAfee Show.

If there is one thing that everybody agrees on, it is the dramatization of LeBron James and Stephen Smith‘s dispute. The escalated matter seems too far gone to be shut any time soon. On today’s edition of the back and forth, the ESPN caster took to X to circle back to his threat towards the Lakers’ star player. Notably, social media users have not hesitated to call Smith’s statement a truckload of hogwash.
Keeping that in mind, Smith recalled his sentence, noting that the viewers missed the latter half of his sentence. After a promise of physical reprisal, he foresaw the repercussions from James which he seemingly was prepared for. He retorted to his followers, calling James a “6’8”, 250lb Goliath”.

After Stephen A. Smith’s run-in with James, the clip ruled the internet, and it continued to do so. Before either of them spoke publicly, the users had assumed the nature of the conversation from the looks of Smith. They even went ahead to allege that the well-built NBA veteran overpowered the unprepared journalist, which provoked the aforementioned response.
