The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Denver Nuggets with a 45-point blowout lead in game 6 of the NBA playoff series. Notably, the Nuggets’ star man Nikola Jokic was kept quiet the whole game by Timberwolves’ stern defense. Jokic seemed visibly upset as an “angry-looking” picture of him went viral on the internet after the game ended.

Interestingly, Stephen A. Smith also reacted to Jokic’s viral image making rounds on the internet. On the “First Take” show, Smith claimed that Jokic had no feelings, he seemed ready for game 7 and the look on his face scared him.

On the sports side of things, 3 times in playoff games, the Denver Nuggets were kept to fewer than 80 points, and in each of those three instances, the 2024 NBA DPOY, Rudy Gobert started at center. It remains to be seen if Jokic can get the better of Gobert in Game 7 of this NBA playoff series.
