When the Philadelphia Eagles lost due to a late-game field goal in the Super Bowl two years ago, the team was itching to get back to this position. Now, fate has given them a rare chance to avenge the loss as they are set to go up against the Kansas City Chiefs again. With one of the best offenses in the NFL, the Eagles are built differently.
There is no doubt that Philly’s fate will be contingent on Saquon Barkley‘s performance. The star running back has had a historic season and gave up the opportunity to break a 40-year record so that he can compete for a Lombardi Trophy. However, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith believes that Jalen Hurts is the one who will seal the Eagles’ fate.
The analyst expressed his reluctance in believing Jalen Hurts when he goes up against a top defense such as the Chiefs.
The analyst believes the quarterback has all the tools needed to beat the Chiefs including a dominant offensive line that has allowed them to wreak havoc by creating room for their rushing attack.

Stephen A. Smith believes Jalen Hurts is capable of winning Super Bowl MVP
With all these tools, it will be up to Hurts to facilitate and ensure success on offense. Stephen A. is confident that Philadelphia is capable of winning the big game.
The analyst predicts that if Hurts has a good game, then the Eagles will win. The Eagles will need to strategize differently for the Super Bowl. The team will be going up against one of the smartest defensive coordinators Steve Spagnuolo. This means despite their dominance on the O-line, Barkley will have a rough day at work.
Philadelphia has the second-best wide receiver/tight end room in the NFL, the best running back in the NFL, and a top-10 quarterback. That is plenty to beat the reigning champions. This is the same team that dropped 55 points in the Championship round. For Jalen Hurts, it will be an opportunity to fare better than he did the last time he was here and lead his team to a different outcome.
