After seeing his cold post match comments, Stephen A. Smith feels Malik Nabers wants to move on from the Giants
Malik Nabers put the blame on HC Brian Daboll for getting him the ball when the Giants were down 0-30 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The New York Giants are a troubled organization. The 2-9 team has the worst record in the NFL and this week, the team’s fanbase thought that they had got rid of their biggest problem, quarterback Daniel Jones.
There was some excitement with Tommy DeVito back in the starter’s role. However, right around halftime against the Buccaneers, it was clear that Jones was not the problem, but it was the organization.
Following the game, rookie wideout Malik Nabers called out Head Coach Brian Daboll for failing to utilize him and continually lose games. His statement made it clear that he is frustrated with the organization in his first season there.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith views Nabers’ statement as concerning for the Giants but he sympathizes with the rookie. The analyst sided with Malik Nabers on First Take.
You look at Malik Nabers, doesn’t that remind you a bit of Odell Beckham Jr? It’s like a player that’s basically saying could y’all get me the hell out of here? Could y’all get me the hell out of town? I don’t want to play for this organization. I don’t want to be here.
Stephen A. Smith said
Stephen A. Smith shed some light on the sorry state of affairs that has been the New York Giants since they last won the Super Bowl in 2011.
The Giants will need to make drastic changes through their organization in order to turn things around
NYG has failed to win a single divisional title. 10 of the last 13 seasons have been losing years with a record of 78-127-1, which is the fourth-worst in the NFL behind the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, and the New York Jets. There has been no stability within the team as they have burned through six different head coaches and three general managers.

Where do you get started while dealing with an organization with these many issues?
We can’t fault or fret over Malik Nabers speaking up the way that he did because you’re literally putting your health on the line with every single play that you expose yourself to on the football field and when you see a team bereft of common sense, bereft of leadership, don’t know what the hell they are doing, everything they do ends up wrong…Malik Nabers told the football world, ‘Can one of y’all please get me the hell out of here? I want out.
Stephen A. Smith said
Stephen A. concluded by saying that the rookie was put into the worst situation in the NFL and he does not want to risk putting his body on the line for absolutely no return.

The wideout understands that he will not be part of a winning culture in New York. The team is in dire need of a rebuild and Nabers has no faith that the ownership will get it right this time around because they clearly have not managed to do so in the last 13 years.
Does this mean that Malik Nabers will be on a different team next season? It seems unlikely as he has a lot of time left on his rookie contract, but as it nears its end, it will not be surprising to see him ask for a trade.
