In a surprising turn of events on Friday night’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith delivered sharp criticism of the Democratic Party while offering praise for newly inaugurated President Donald Trump. Smith has left audiences stunned as he dunks on his party while sharing his perspective on the current state of American politics.
During the discussion, Smith, 57, who previously cast his vote for Kamala Harris in the November election, expressed frustration with his choices. He argued that the Democratic party appears disconnected from the concerns of the broader electorate, choosing instead to focus on niche issues.
Stephen A. Smith has confessed that he feels like a “damn fool” for backing Kamala Harris in the recent presidential election. Harris secured the nomination unopposed, despite her previous failed 2020 campaign, where she withdrew from the race before the Iowa caucuses.
Smith, who has become more vocal about political issues, lamented his choice, alleging that the Democratic Party tricked them into it.

In fact, this is not even the first time Smith has lashed out at the Democratic party. Last month, in a sitdown with FOX News, Smith came down harshly on the party and criticized Joe Biden for pardoning his son Hunter Biden.
Stephen A. Smith praises Donald Trump for staying true to his words
In the aftermath of the 78-year-old’s decisive win last year, several billionaires and other industry leaders have shifted their allegiance to Trump. In the explosive interview, Smith claimed that Donald Trump was able to convince the people to vote for him despite his felony charges and past impeachments as well.
Smith also argues that Trump has proven his words true by proclaiming several executive orders on the very first day of taking office. However, he also admitted that most of his orders would be struck down by the courts.
In the span of the first few weeks, Donald Trump has made several headlines with crucial executive orders including withdrawal from WHO, the Paris Climate Agreement, and pardoning Capitol Riot inciters. As he promises to Make America Great Again, it is to be seen what the septuagenarian has in his pockets.
