Stephen A Smith takes LeBron James beef to Fox News; catches flak from Hollywood star Jamie Foxx
Lakers legend LeBron James once again gets called out by Stephen A. Smith regarding the courtside altercation during the Knicks game.

LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith
The Stephen A. Smith–LeBron James courtside faceoff during the Knicks game has still not been settled. He took to Fox News to talk about this. Smith opened up about his on-court incident with James during the Lakers’ 113-109 overtime victory over the Knicks. Smith additionally disclosed that he has never criticized Bronny James, but rather LeBron himself.
On First Take, Smith insisted he did not talk badly of the Los Angeles Lakers rookie. Now, on Fox News, Smith stated that instead of confronting him on the floor, James could have had a private conversation with him after the match. In addition, Fox News host Hannity told Smith that he would have ‘had his back’ which the latter appreciated.
He thought that I was insulting his son when in fact that is not what I was doing… He confronted me, it’s his prerogative.

Smith did not stop there. He also appeared on the latest segment of the Gil’s Arena Podcast. He spoke about the same ongoing issue but provided different insights regarding the matter with LeBron James. Smith revealed more specifics regarding the altercation. He stated that Bronny was also involved and made a “sad” look when he saw Smith on the courtside in the first quarter.
According to Smith, Bronny’s behavior may have prompted James to confront him. On the podcast, Smith labeled LeBron James ‘weak’ after discovering that the real reason the Lakers superstar singled him out was that he criticized his parenting. The comments occurred after James’ footage with former teammate and ESPN commentator, Richard Jefferson, went viral.
Jamie Foxx came out in support of his favorite NBA player, LeBron James
While James has been facing immense criticism from Smith over various issues over the last few weeks, he has also received support from a few known personalities. Notably, James was recently criticized for his remarks regarding the NBA media. That led to his longtime friend and Hollywood star Jamie Foxx jumping to his support via Instagram.
An Instagram fan account named @lbjhistory recently uploaded a carousel headlined “They made a blueprint to criticize LeBron in any situation,” which included reasons for every either-or situation James found himself in at any given time.
If he came up with a cure for cancer, they would say yeah but what about diabetes?
Jamie Foxx commented
This follows a string of favorable statements for James. Former star Gilbert Arenas also backed the 40-year-old during an appearance on ESPN’s First Take. Furthermore, the NFL community demonstrated support for LBJ.
Dwyane Wade made his feelings clear regarding the Stephen A. Smith-LeBron James beef
The Stephen A. Smith-LeBron James beef has been making headlines in and around the NBA community. Fans and former players have picked their sides, with James’ former teammate Dwyane Wade being the recent player to speak up on this matter. As per TMZ, Wade is siding with James ahead of Smith in this ongoing beef.
I love both guys, I had a conversation with Stephen A about it and I told him… I would have walked up on him the same way. This is all love and sports.
Dwyane Wade said
With Smith opening up on this matter time and again, many would expect a response from the Lakers star as well. However, James could ignore this whole situation, too. Only time will tell how this situation unfolds in the coming days.
