Stephen Curry
Golden State Warriors have backed up their superstar Stephen Curry at all conditions. Being the best shooter in the league Stephen Curry has faced some locked down defense. However, the unstoppable shooter recently tied Kobe Bryant’s streak for successive 30-point game. Stephen Curry has been making it a hard time for the defenders. Creating separations and shooting accurate 3-pointers seems fluent for the 33-YO. Recently Dubs sensation mentioned some of the best defenders in the league including his brother Seth Curry.
Stephen Curry is currently playing in his prime. The elite maestro recently added 47 points against the Boston Celtics yet faced a defeat. He has been single handed getting scores. When he was asked about some great defenders who have given him a tough time on court, Steph wasn’t hesitant to name them. He started, “Yes, and no. Jrue Holiday, Avery Bradley, Tony Allen when he was in the league. There are guys that have a knack for being in the right place in the right time, being physical, studying your game, and knowing your moves.”
Stephen Curry cannot be guarded
Adding to his statement, Curry said, “Never in my mind are you scared that they’re going to stop you. But at the same time, you gotta go harder that particular night or play a little smarter. Maybe like Pat Bev and the antics, you’ve gotta deal with that. But I think those guys exist and they get paid to defend the best guys in the league.”
Surprisingly, Stephen Curry said, his brother Seth Curry was the most frustrating defender he has faced till date. He added, “But Seth Curry is the one that frustrates me the most… In the playoffs, when he was in Portland, he literally had like four steals on me. He disarmed me a little bit, but he was literally everywhere and I couldn’t figure it out.“
Stephen Curry is not just a shooting prodigy but has some sick ball handling skills as well. He is very efficient in creating the separation through his skills. The guy just puts the defenders on their toes and cooks them great. Stephen Curry is definitely underrated while creating chances and dishing down easy dimes. He is the greatest asset for Warriors team. His epic scoring is the sole reason they have inched so far. Can Stephen Curry give them the boost to make it to playoffs?
