Stephen Curry excited to see LeBron James’ ‘other side’ inside locker-room playing on the same team
The Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry makes honest admission about LeBron James on his new podcast, HeatCheck.

LeBron James and Steph Curry
Since the 2010s, two NBA stars, but fierce rivals set the stage alight with their immense quality and skillset in the sport, LeBron James and Stephen Curry. Notably, Curry and James have had illustrious careers in the NBA but are nearing the end of their careers. However, Curry on his new podcast, HeatCheck spoke about the possibility of teaming up with James, but with a twist.
Curry claimed on the HeatCheck podcast that he would team up with James, not in the NBA but rather on the USA side. Furthermore, the top player for the Golden State Warriors began by praising King James. Curry also discussed how a team gets impacted by James’ presence in the locker room. Also, Curry ended his conversation by asserting it would be good to know the other side of King James while playing for the USA side.
Obviously, you just want to play around greatness, and this and that, and, see that kind of talent on display every single night. That’d [a team-up between Steph and James] be interesting. Maybe we’re going to get that. Not in the NBA, but uh, maybe on Team USA type vibe, before we get out of here.On the HeatCheck Podcast, Stephen Curry said
Notably, Curry wanted to make it known that he was not attempting to sway any NBA trade deals. Having said that, the superstar is probably ecstatic to be playing alongside the Lakers legend at the 2024 Olympics for the USA side.
Stephen Curry denied many opportunities to team up with LeBron James in the NBA
For years now, the Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James has spoken openly about his desire to play alongside the Warriors’ Stephen Curry. However, throughout time, the Warriors icon has consistently declined opportunities and shown extreme reluctance. In 2022, he sincerely said that he was not receptive to the proposal on the Draymond Green Show.
Okay if you take a fantasy draft and you're like building a team and you got what Bron could do and the way I could shoot the ball...but also there's a realism right, that's why i said I'm good right now.On the Draymond Green Show, Stephen Curry said
Curry said that the use of his name in the chat was “surreal.” He did acknowledge, though, that he had no interest in it.
On the flip side, it’s evident that Stephen Curry has no intention of ever wanting to join up with LeBron James to leave the Warriors. Nevertheless, James heading to the Golden State Warriors is not completely impossible considering the Lakers’ unstable situation.
