Golden State Warriors use late run to pull away from Indiana Pacers
Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors with 24 points, whereas Draymond Green fell short of a triple-double in victory over Indiana Pacers 111-107. Green had 12 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. While for the Indiana Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon led the offensive chart with 24 points as well. Domantas Sabonis scored his 244th double-double of season by knocking 22 points and 16 rebounds.
It was a tough night for Curry, who came up just short of a major milestone. The 3-Point King went 7 of 21 from the field, falling one basket short of joining Wilt Chamberlain, Rick Barry and Chris Mullin as the only players in Warriors history to reach 6,000 field goals.

Talking about the Warriors, Eric Pascalll had 13 points. Andrew Wiggins scored 15 points and has scored in double figures every game this season. Kelly Oubre Jr. finished with 17 points, the first time in five games he failed to reach 19. Rookie James Wiseman had 11 points before fouling out early in the fourth. The Warriors were 5 of 26 on 3-pointers, shooting a season-low 19.2%. Golden State won in Indy for the first time since March 2019. The Warriors became the fifth team in NBA history with 1,000th road wins, joining the Celtics, Lakers, 76ers and Knicks.
But after using a 7-0 run to take an 81-75 lead late in the third, the Pacers fought back to tie it at 86 early in the fourth. The Warriors again appeared to be poised to take control when Brad Wanamaker made a tie-breaking 14-footer, followed that with a free throw and then watched Eric Paschall make two more free throws to make it 95-91 with 6:34 to go but the Pacers cut the deficit to 99-98 with 4:36 left. That’s when the Warriors finally put it away by scoring six straight.
