Recently the basketball world saw the union of the Big 3 of the modern NBA which is LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. Throughout the years fans had seen them competing against each other but this time all three were fighting for a common goal. USA basketball managed to create a three headed monster as the Big 3 teamed up together to represent USA in the Paris Olympics.
Team USA with LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant managed to win the gold medal this year. The team had one of the most dominant runs in the Olympics history with all three leading the charge. It was likely once in a lifetime moment in the world of basketball. Recently former NBA star Kendrick Perkins appeared on the show “First Take” and discussed about the Big 3 of the modern NBA.
On the show, Perkins talked about the possibility of James, Curry and Durant teaming up one more time. Perkins stated that if things don’t go as planned for all 3 superstars with their respective teams fans could see a reunion. Further, he even stated that Durant can even go to the Timberwolves to join forces with Anthony Edwards.

Curry and Durant have already teamed up together for the Golden State Warriors. They both have even gone on to win two championships together. It will be interesting to see how the future of the 3 superstars unfolds.

For the first time, fans saw three long-time rivals compete together in the same threads. LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant had one of the most successful runs in the Olympics. The USA went undefeated both in the exhibition games as well as the main stage of the Olympics.
Team USA entered the tournament as the heavy favorites and certainly delivered on all expectations. Although they were dominant throughout they still had minor bumps, notably against Serbia but managed to pick up the win.
It was certainly one of the most memorable moments in basketball history. All three stars are in the final legs of their career and it is unlikely we would see this reunion again.
