Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry makes insane one-handed shot from distance at store opening ceremony

Stephen Curry is deep into expanding his business. Something he has been busy with this off-season when he appeared in Benicia, California, to promote his Bourbon Whiskey. However, basketball is still the Golden State Warriors superstar’s first love as he made an insane one-handed trick shot while walking toward the entrance of the premises.

The promotional event was scheduled beforehand which meant a lot of fans were at the store premises. After Stephen Curry arrived, a video by SLAM showed he was walking towards the entrance of the SIPS Bottle Emporium in Benicia. He noticed that there was a basketball half-court beside the premises. There some teenagers and kids were putting up shots. He asked for the ball and launched a shot in an arc motion from his right hand. The ball bounced off the backboard and went into the basket.

The difficulty of the shot and distance meant making such shots seemed second nature for the Golden State Warriors superstar. After he and the fans saw the shot going in, he was seen hugging a person as even he knew the shot was difficult.

But it goes to show that basketball is truly Stephen Curry’s first love. Picking up a ball when he was there to promote his Gentlemen’s Cut Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey and making that shot was insane.

Stephen Curry to suit up for Team USA practice

After all these business promotions, Stephen Curry will suit up for Team USA practice in the coming days. They will first play Canada in Las Vegas on July 11th in a friendly. Then the team will travel to Abu Dhabi and London for two friendlies each before finally reaching Paris.

All these friendlies will give Stephen Curry and his superstar teammates time to build up their chemistry. That chemistry is crucial as only a handful of players are on the same team in the NBA. In comparison, most of the international teams have played together for some time. But to help these superstars find cohesion, they will have 4 championship-winning coaches at hand.

Curry’s Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will have NBA champion head coaches Ty Lue and Erik Spoelstra as assistants, along with NCAA champion head coach Mark Few. These coaches with their pedigree should help these superstars play their best and bring back the gold from the Paris Olympics.
