Stephen Curry keeps wearing his ‘most influential player’ crown in his 16th year in the league. The greatest shooter of all time is still the fan-favorite in the NBA. Just a day after getting announced as the All-Star starter for the West team, Curry has again shown his popularity. Keeping the All-Star votes aside, fans are also spending their money on Curry. The Warriors guard is at the top of most sold jerseys this season.

The NBA released the list of top-selling jerseys from the first half of the season based on the NBAStore.com sales. Warriors’ Stephen Curry sat at the top of the list with LeBron James at the second. The achievement by Curry is truly remarkable considering this is the third straight season the ‘Chef’ has sold the most jerseys.

The Warriors saw a downfall after their 2022 championship but it seems that it has not affected Curry’s popularity. With the league’s leading scorer being second, the reigning champion Jayson Tatum is third on the list. Though most names are regulars on the list, Anthony Edwards, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Donovan Mitchell are first-timers in the top 15.

Considering Curry is in his late thirties, the star is way beyond his prime. Witnessing Curry in the 2010s, his current season seems ordinary. The star is averaging one of the lowest scores of his career with 22.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists. Keeping the stats of the season in mind, fans were amazed by Curry’s influence on the jersey sale.

The NBA world is well aware of Stephen Curry’s global influence. Curry was even the most talked about player on the 2024 Olympics ‘Avengers’ roster. But the consecutive most jersey sales took fans by surprise. Curry has been on the same team, wearing the same number for the entirety of his career.
