Stephen Curry praises Kelly Oubre Jr. after hard earned victory over the LA Lakers
Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors had a very thrilling encounter against the mammoth Los Angeles Lakers. The match was really a very awaited one in the league. LeBron facing the Golden State has been a show in the NBA since years. Stephen Curry and company became victorious over the Lakers in the dyeing minutes of the game. The youngster, Kelly Oubre Jr. shone bright in the same triumph.
Curry had an excellent performance. The Warriors were behind for most of the game. Until in the 4th quarter, things started turning around. Oubre, the new signing was absolute eye candy in the league. Surprising everyone, Kelly made his shooting percentage rise hitting as many as four three pointers in the game. His shooting form was criticized, but not anymore after his gem of a performance. Steph spoke to the press post-match and praised Kelly Oubre Jr. in the game tonight. He said, “Everybody chipped in and we weathered the storm against a championship-calibre team. Big win for us.”

Steph said, “Just stay competing. We’ve been in every type of situation this year. Something about these big national TV games – we love getting down 20-20 or so…Kelly played his best game of the year. But everybody chipped in.”
The win was big for Curry and the organisation as the Warriors stand 7-6 in the league. Although Lakers started really well, they were startled with Oubre making those unexpected threes in the corner. Mismatch, turn-overs really frustrated the Lakers and thus things started going wrong.
Can the Warriors stay in the competing league? A big win over the Lakers has boosted the morale for sure. The team will now look forward to captivate over this win and stay focused making a winning streak at least. The only way getting to the playoffs is winning and Golden State is really a determined winner.
