In the months leading up to the most competitive US election in history, NBA stars like Steph Curry and LeBron James have been outspoken in their political endorsements. While James recently voiced his support, Curry had publicly endorsed Kamala Harris back in September. The Golden State Warriors guard has been candid about his reasons, as he emphasized the importance of Harris’ campaign to issues like women’s rights.

His endorsement took center stage during an interview on CNBC, where he explained his decision to back the Harris-Walz ticket. He highlighted that advocating for women’s rights aligns closely with his values, making his choice to support Harris an easy one.

Endorsing, Kim, is important for me, for my family, especially women’s rights and thinking about what’s at stake with this election and understanding we need to be in a position where women have the right to choose what’s right for them, and that’s at the top of the list for me.
