Team USA stars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant have been making the headlines lately after their recent press conference ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Notably, Team USA are leading contender going into the decorated tournament but this time around faces immense competition from other national sides, unlike previous Olympic campaigns.

Curry and Durant, two former colleagues of the Golden State Warriors, were asked which international athletes in the tournament they thought may stick out from the pack at Thursday’s media availability. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic were named by Durant, but it’s evident that there are many talented players this time around.

In addition, Curry also gave a savage response to the reporters while sitting beside Durant, shutting down the old-school fans’ mentality. Kevin Durant told the reporters, “Giannis maybe, Jokic…”

In addition, one thing is surely certain regarding this particular Olympic tournament, the competition is tougher than ever before. With almost 60 plus NBA stars representing their respective nations, it won’t be easy for Team USA to clinch the Gold medal even though they are clear favorites to do so. It will be interesting to watch how Curry and Co. will perform in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are back together as teammates for the first time since 2019—this time as members of Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Notably, Curry reminded everyone about Durant being his teammate and how much success they achieved. In addition, Durant was one of the stellar players for the Warriors alongside Curry.

Interestingly, Curry and Durant will be fully focused on clinching the gold medal for their nation and their fans but face immense competition this time around.
