Stephen Curry has been on a heater since missing a few games due to illness. At a time when the Golden State Warriors needed their most important player to lead them out of their slump earlier in the month, he gladly accepted the challenge.

In his first game back, the superstar exploded for 46 points against the San Antonio Spurs. In their next game against the same opponents, he upped the ante with a 49-point juggernaut.

Then, in their game against the New Orleans Pelicans, he was a bit quiet, scoring just 9 points off 18.2% shooting from the floor. When the Warriors required Stephen Curry the most, he responded, returning to form with a 34-point performance.

In that run, he was mostly guarded by Magic guard Jalen Suggs. During the first 3 minutes, the Warriors guard received the ball and moved towards his left.

The Magic star followed Stephen Curry, as he knew the 4-time champion was about to slither his way towards the 3-point line and get a shot off. The 37-year-old did exactly as he thought, using a step back as his final move to create separation from Suggs.

The latter then jumped to try to block or alter Curry’s shot. When he could not block the shot, he moved both hands away from the Warriors star’s, as even a touch would draw a whistle.

After his shot went in, the father of four mimicked Suggs’ hand gestures, suggesting as if he was scared. The action first confused commentators, who thought it was a celebration. Then they realized he was trolling the Magic star.

Stephen Curry was trolling sneaker companies with latest display

This would be the 2nd game since Stephen Curry officially became a sneaker free agent. Companies are out there looking to sign him and Curry Brand to their lineup. Until that happens, he is free to wear anything he wants. That is why he wore the ‘Mambacita’ Nike Kobe 6s to their 2nd game against the Spurs.

Ahead of their game against the Orlando Magic, the Akron native pulled up wearing Shaquille O’Neal‘s Reebok Shaqnosis, one of the Hall of Famer’s first signature shoes. He then swapped them out for Nike Air Penny 2 “Le Sprite” during shootaround. It seems he is diving into his private sneaker collection to wear some of his prized possessions.

Once he signs with another brand, he will not have the luxury of doing what he wants. By then, he should be back promoting his Curry Brand shoes every opportunity he gets.

LeBron James compares Stephen Curry to baseball superstar Shohei Ohtani

Stephen Curry has done more than enough in his 16 seasons in the league that no one needs an introduction on what he can and cannot do. LeBron James has faced him throughout that period and detailed how dangerous his rival can be.

What makes Steph one of the most dangerous players of all time is the fact that you’re going to get it in so many different ways.

LeBron James said

The 40-year-old came to say this right after detailing how Shohei Ohtani struck out 10 batters, while also hitting 3 home runs in the same game. He believes Curry is similarly dangerous.

James detailed how not only does the point guard impact his opponent with his scoring, but his constant movement sucks the life out of their defenders.

The constant running and jockeying for positions leaves teams huffing and puffing near the end of the game. Either his scoring does the damage by then, or the Warriors have enough to top the game into their hands.
