Now, his young teammate has shared another story of Curry’s incredible veteran treatment with Post.
Quinten Post joined the Warriors this season as the 52nd overall pick in the draft. But the face of the franchise, Stephen Curry is not treating the rookie any differently. During the press conference ahead of the Warriors vs. Bulls matchup, Post shared a story about when Curry dropped him home after their late return to the Bay. Curry took the responsibility of Post long before the rookie started getting minutes on the court.
The Warriors center was moved by Curry’s unexpected gesture. Post admitted that the Warriors’ main man was the ‘last person’ he anticipated concern from. The 24-year-old did give his flowers to Curry for being one of the greatest on the court but wanted to share about the star off the court. Post speaking highly of Curry as a person and sharing the story melted the fans’ hearts.
“That just shows how he is as a person. Out of the 50 people that were at that airport. Steph was the last person that needed to worry about if I got home.”

Quinten Post is trying to make Stephen Curry’s job easier
The day before the Bulls game, Curry opened up about the advantages of someone like Quinten Post being on the court. As the 36-year-old attracts tough defense from the opposition, the team can benefit from Post’s size and center position. Post is also an elite shooter which is a plus for the Warriors according to Curry.
The rookie proved that in the very next game. The day before Post disclosed his plans of building chemistry alongside Curry. After the important win against Chicago, Post admitted that the duo has seen improvement in their on-court relationship. The rookie is doing exactly what Curry expected, which is making spacing for the shooter. “Like I said yesterday, I’m trying to adjust to him. Trying to make life easier on him. Make us some shots that helps,” Quinten Post said.
“We did talk yesterday… I thought we already saw improvement today… Like I said yesterday, I’m trying to adjust to him. Trying to make life easier on him.”

As far as the team’s head coach, Post is succeeding at his job. In the same press conference, Steve Kerr admitted that Curry was the ‘happiest guy in the building’ beside Post. The HC praised Post as Curry and the rest of the Warriors benefitted from the rookie’s space-making. It seems that Post is on the way to get many more minutes, as Kerr agreed to the speculation himself.
