On Saturday night, the Golden State Warriors welcomed the Los Angeles Lakers in a Pacific Division game.
The game was relatively close from the beginning until the end, with no team leading by more than six points for most of it. Even though the Lakers won 118-108 in the end, what transpired following the game between Warriors star Stephen Curry and Lakers HC JJ Redick attracted notice.

Curry had his bodyguard locate Redick and proceeded to give him personalized, autographed jerseys for Redick’s two sons, Kai and Knox. The brothers possessed an assortment of memorabilia and are avid basketball fanatics because of their dad’s longstanding NBA ties. Regretfully, they lost all of it when their family’s Pacific Palisades house was devastated by destructive wildfires.

Redick and his family were among the many people who were suffering as a result of the LA Wildfires. Since the wildfires, NBA players have previously expressed support for Redick’s sons. Following the Lakers’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on January 13, Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama gave their game-worn jerseys to Knox and Kai.

JJ Redick and his family have sufficient funds to buy a house somewhere else. However, none of the personal belongings that the victims lost in the fires can be replaced. This includes Redick’s sons’ vintage NBA memorabilia collection. Hence, these kinds of gestures by the NBA players are often heartwarming and showcase the other side of these professional athletes.

Stephen Curry records worst career ‘shooting-half’ in loss against Lakers

Stephen Curry was the center of attention as the Warriors played the Lakers on Saturday night.
Everyone anticipated a big matchup between Curry and LeBron James, but Warriors supporters were far more let down. Surprisingly, Curry went 0/8 from the field and 0/4 from beyond the arc to score zero points against the Lakers in the second half.

Curry has never shot 0/8 in a half of basketball in his career, but his effort in the second half was so awful that it was actually his worst shooting half. In addition, the Warriors were hoping to secure an important win against the Lakers, but the matter seems to get worse with this loss.

The NBA trade deadline is almost approaching, so the organization must make some sensible choices. The Golden State Warriors are running out of time, whether it’s at the end of the season or the deadline. All eyes will be on the Warriors’ movements in and around the trade market for the next few weeks.
