The Golden State Warriors have added some great rosters to the team. The rookie selection has also been excellent for them. James Wiseman, the rookie of 2021 roster in the Warriors has turned to be a good gamble. After 3 games at the Memphis University, Wiseman already was seen as the greatest prospect in the NBA. He is one of the most highly touted recruits in the NBA today. Being the #2nd pick with the Warriors, the young fellow has already been over powering. Steve Kerr, the Warriors’ Head coach stood up to the rookie once again.

James Wiseman has a great ability to finish under the rim. His post matchups situation is the best. The tall centre seems to have exquisite footwork, beating the defenders with strength and agility respectively. Yet his consistency is a big step back. He seems to lose his mind quite often and quite quick in a game. All the frustration piles up with his missed open looks. But head coach, Steve Kerr really believes he can channelize the young roster.

Steve Kerr optimistic of James Wiseman’s ability

Steve Kerr is confident that the defiant centre will have a great career ahead. He said Wiseman is the finest young talents in the NBA currently. Wiseman will surely make efficient changes and adapt some composure to his mental pressures. Steve Kerr said, “Yeah. Absolutely it’s affecting him. But again, it’s OK. If he hadn’t been frustrated, I’d be really worried. The frustration just needs to be chanelled into work…what a great young guy to work with.”

The 7’1, really needs a calm and sudden approach to his playing style. Although he was projected as the top 3 drafts as centre, he turned out to be a good shooter as well. Hopefully Wiseman contests for the rookie of the year candidature. Playing as a starter for the Warriors, the winning momentum is what coaches and the players will have in their mind especially with Wiseman doing a great effort.
