The Golden State Warriors haven’t been at their best certainly in this season. They just have been lingering around the playoff spots currently. They are currently 9th in the Western Conference. However, if it was not for their marquee player Stephen Curry, they would have been on rock bottom. Stephen Curry is playing on MVP caliber this season. He has single rescued the Dubs single handed and carried them to a respectable position. However, he’s recent injury has attracted all the tensions around the Golden State Warriors’ bench lately.

The Dubs were up against Houston Rockets earlier today. Although managed to registered a win, it was still a tough fight. Draymond Green registered a triple-double with 16 –point, 10 assists and 12 rebounds. Newbie Jordan Poole added 23 while Steph had 18 points against his name. Moreover, the Dubs were saved because of their late display of team game. The way they passed the ball around saved the team. However, the highlight moment of the game still remains Christian Wood disposing Draymond Green off balance while defending.

Steve Kerr provides an updates on Stephen Curry’s injury

During the end of the 3rd quarter, Steph was hustling for his signature buzzer beater. Although he managed to get the ball off before buzzer, his abrupt landing got him into problem. He straight away limped towards the Rockets’ bench and crashed on the floor. He looked considerably in discomfort and held his back instantly. He landed on his tailbone and held it in pain. Head coach Steve Kerr gave updates with regard to Stephen Curry’s injury.

He mentioned, “It’s gonna be bother him the next few days. No idea if he is gonna play in Memphis… he could be practicing tomorrow for all I know.” Kerr also said that Steph wouldn’t go for an X-ray soon enough.

The Golden State were held by Curry’s scoring. The complete game revolved around his offence. Now that he will miss games, can they survive without his lead? In the past when Curry missed 2 games, Dubs ended up losing both. It is uncertain how long will Curry be away. Can GSW retain their race to playoff or end up last like last season?
