Raphinha opened the scoring from the spot in the 38th minute and doubled the lead on the other side of the break with another successfully converted penalty Former Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira scored in the 71st-minute while Luis Henrique’s 74st-minute strike sealed the deal for Brazil.

With the win, Argentina cemented their position at the top with seven wins from 10 games while their closest pursuer, Colombia, stayed in the second position. Apart from Leo Messi, Lautaro Martinez, Julian Alvarez, and Thiago Almada also found the back of the net as Argentina continued their sensational run in the ongoing edition of the World Cup qualifiers.
