Ex-Indian cricketer-turned-commentator Sunil Gavaskar‘s heartwarming celebratory dance following India’s Champions Trophy victory left fans in awe. The Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the final to lift the ICC Champions Trophy for the third time.

The Indian national team completed their unbeaten run in the Champions Trophy group stages and knockouts with a brilliant final victory. Captain Rohit Sharma was named Man of the Match for a crucial 76-run knock, while Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul contributed as India chased down 251 runs. Meanwhile, bowling for the Men in Blue, Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav picked two wickets each.

The win marked India’s second straight ICC trophy in less than a year following their 2024 T20 World Cup triumph in the United States and West Indies. India also boasts an impressive record of winning 22 out of their last 23 matches in ICC tournaments.
