Ex-Indian cricketer-turned-commentator Sunil Gavaskar‘s heartwarming celebratory dance following India’s Champions Trophy victory left fans in awe. The Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the final to lift the ICC Champions Trophy for the third time.
The Indian national team completed their unbeaten run in the Champions Trophy group stages and knockouts with a brilliant final victory. Captain Rohit Sharma was named Man of the Match for a crucial 76-run knock, while Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul contributed as India chased down 251 runs. As India lifted its seventh major ICC tournament, 75-year-old former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar broke out in a celebratory dance on the pitch. He showed off his childish yet passionate dance moves as the Indian players walked up to the podium to collect the trophy.
