The Super Bowl LIX is all set to make waves with the audience as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles fight for the golden trophy. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events in the US amassing over 100 million viewers on average. Additionally, the rise in NFL viewers has significantly impacted the overall development of the league. That said, it makes it a well-paying opportunity for the advertisers to join in to promote their products. With the market being far from a monopoly, brands often rely on celebrities to attract audiences.

This year will be no different with the inclusion of leading names in the industry. Their presence especially helps people remember the brand’s tagline amongst the 80-plus ad spots that are divided between approximately 50 marketers.

With the stakes that high, promoters spend millions hoping for a handsome in return. As previously reported by Fox, more than 10 ad spots have spent a whopping $8 million for a place in the mix. With companies releasing ads days prior to the main event, some of them have already managed to stir up the audience.

Sydney Sweeney in Hellmann

Box-office actor Sydney Sweeney is known to generate rampant attention for her projects, with this being no exception. Hellmann has already gained props for reuniting co-stars Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal from the iconic movie When Harry Met Sally. The two seem to be sitting at Katz’s Deli, enjoying a sandwich with the brand’s star product.

The shot then cuts to Sydney Sweeney who makes a cameo in the advertisement. Concluding the clip, the Euphoria actor asks the waiter to bring what Ryan was having in the famous dialogue. The screen then features the product with its tagline. Users on X have started reposting the clips highlighting their excitement over Sweeney’s involvement in the Super Bowl LIX.

Ben Affleck in Dunkin’

Dunkin’ and Ben Affleck is not an unusual combination the fans have seen in Super Bowl. However, he’s not all the glam brand’s newly launched advertisement offers. The commercial teaser, which aired during the Grammy Awards, also featured renowned actors Casey Affleck and Jeremy Strong. Dunkin’ posted the clip on their X handle asking the followers to gear up for the change.

The clip starts with Ben and Casey Affleck arguing over Jeremy Strong’s method of acting, only to realize that he has dunked himself in a can of coffee. After Strong shares he would be ready in “three hours”, Ben mutters that they should have paid Matt Damon, who had appeared in last year’s commercial. The clip ends with Dunkin’ asking America to be ready to “suit up” on February 9.

Matthew McConaughey in Uber Eats

Matthew McConaughey has once again won over the internet with his acting and humor in the Uber Eats commercial for the Super Bowl LIX. The advertisement showcases clips of the actor in different settings and epochs of football.

While the landscape changes, the agenda remains the same. In the commercial McConaughey claims that the NFL is only an attempt to promote food. His newly renamed “National Food League” has since then gone viral leaving fans in splits.

Throughout the advert, the Interstellar actor is mingling with several other celebrities such as Kevin Bacon, Martha Stewart, and Charli XCX. McConaughey made several puns, also alluding Caesar salad to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans set to host the Super Bowl this year. By the end of the advertisement, the viewers realize it was all the actor’s imagination, who was convincing Greta Gerwig of his conspiracy theory.

David Beckham in Stella Artois

Stella Artois is easily one of the top Super Bowl ads for this year featuring David Beckham. The commercial brings together the internet’s favorite twins. Widely claimed lookalikes Beckham and Matt Damon play long-lost brothers for Stella.

The ad begins with the former’s parents confessing to him about his sibling who was left behind in America. The users called out the witty duo who are often jested as twins in Hollywood.

The scenes follow the two meeting each other for the first time only to find huge differences between them. However, as the commercial plays out, both Beckham and Damon turn out to be excellent soccer players. From there on, the two begin to bond over Stella Artois.

Pete Davidson and Gordon Ramsay in HexClad

Pete Davidson and Gordon Ramsay are a duo no one saw coming. Much like HexClad who is making its big game debut this Super Bowl. The ad opens with Gordon Ramsay in Area 51, preparing to cook for the aliens. While looking over the “test kitchen”, the star chef finds the “top secret Alien cooking technology”, HexClad. Following Ramsay gushing over the pans and the technology, he is introduced to the Alien ambassadors.

In a hilarious turn of events, Pete Davidson, who is extensively claimed as an alien by the fans, appears. When Ramsay enquires Davidson about his existence as an alien, he joked every megastar is, poking fun at the world-class chef. While both celebrities have extremely different target audiences, the brand bringing the two together has only made themselves multigenerational.
