Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals will welcome Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos in Week 17 with their playoff hopes on the line. The home team have to win at all costs if they are to take one step forward towards that goal. Whereas the away team will go on the road knowing the playoffs are there’s to lose.
If the Broncos were to lose, they still have a chance if they beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18. The back-to-back Super Bowl champions captured the first round bye and will likely rest most of their starters. But it is not as simple for the Bengals.
They have to beat the Denver Broncos and as well as win their final regular season game. At the same time, they must hope that both the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts lose their games later on Sunday. Along with that the Dolphins and Broncos lose their final regular season games.
Not the ideal probability for Joe Burrow and his superstar offense. However, fans are dreading the prospect of that superstar offense not making it to the playoffs. That is what former Super Bowl champion Jeff Saturday claimed when talking on First Take.
Holy Sh*t: ESPN's Jeff Saturday goes OFF on the #Broncos and Bo Nix, saying they DO NOT deserve to make the playoffs over the #Bengals:

Saturday feels fans and the NFL would want Joe Burrow to play in the playoffs over rookie Bo Nix. It will be good for football fans as they know they will get to watch superstars in action. Nix has time on his hands to be there.
Joe Burrow has to bring out his best against stout Broncos defense
Bo Nix is getting better with every passing game as the quarterback of the Denver Broncos. His improvements are catching the attention of fans. However, it is the Broncos defense that has quietly become one of the best units in all of football.
They are top four in the league when it comes to points allowed per game. Their combination of an elite rushing attack combined with a balanced linebacker group and a stud secondary has helped their team to nine wins.
However, in the few losses the Broncos have had this season, they have leaked a lot of points. That should give Joe Burrow and his high-flying offense hope. With the likes of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins leading the line along with Mike Gesicki and an improving rushing attack makes them a threat.
Facing the Broncos, that group has to make sure they score early and consistently. Only then can the Cincinnati Bengals beat them if they are to have a chance at a playoff game this season. Burrow will have to dig into his bag of heroics once again early on Sunday.
