Since then, wishes have been flowing in for the couple. They had their first daughter, Samaira, in 2018.
On the field, India registered a thumping 3-1 T20I series win against South Africa under the captaincy of Yadav. Tilak Varma batted at number three and scored two consecutive centuries. The Indian T20I captain talked about Varma scoring a century and also Sharma becoming a father for the second time.
Suryakumar Yadav said "Many, many congratulations to Rohit and his family. It's the best news on a perfect day, we won the game as well – A guy from the One Family has also scored runs – It's a good thing. I wish him Rohit all the best for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as well". pic.twitter.com/MWtWDexFk1
