Michael Phelps
The first thing that comes to one’s mind when talking about Michael Phelps is swimming. The 28-time Olympic medalist is one of the biggest names who has pulled off some emphatic stuff in the world of swimming.
But do you know that the Australian swimmer had also pulled off something amazing in the world of golf? In 2016, Phelps accomplished something as unbelievable as this. He pulled off one of the longest putts ever televised as he scored from a distance of 160 ft.
Michael Phelps is in habit of making records
He achieved this amazing feat after coming from the successful London Olympics in 2016. Phelps won the most medals overall at one Olympics, with 28 from five Summer Games. Phelps won the most Olympic gold medals ever with 23 gold medals, three silver medals, and two bronze medals.
Surely he wasn’t tired of making records after successful Olympics and this time he did it in the game of golf. In particular, he holed the longest putt ever shown on television.
In case you missed it, the historic moment occurred at the 2012 Dunhill Links. Phelps did the following when faced with a 159-foot eagle putt on the short par-4 sixth hole at Kingsbarns. The shot was so cool that even the best of the golfers won’t be able to boast about this achievement on the golfing course.
