The legendary Michael Phelps is celebrating his birthday today, on 30th June. As the swimmer turns 37 years old this year, birthday wishes are in galore for him. Phelps is the most decorated and the most successful Olympians of all time. He is a 23 time Olympic gold medallist, holding 28 Olympic medals in total and is considered one of the greatest swimmers ever.

Phelps has also set the most records ever at an astonishing 39. After his retirement, Phelps has also been a big advocate of mental health for high performance athletes, and every one else too. While opening up about his own struggles with depression and competitive sports, Phelps has opened up a platform for many individuals to share their stories. Twitter came together today to celebrate one more of Phelps’ trip around the sun.
