Switzerland Tourism Director goes gaga over Federer’s humility
Roger Federer
Roger Federer is a global superstar. Although he might be coming to the end of his celebrated career, and will go down as one of the greatest to play the sport, his popularity across the globe won’t diminish.
The Swiss maestro will return to action after a two-month hiatus, and will start his clay court campaign in Geneva. Over the years, the 20-time Grand Slam champion has endorsed various products and brands across streams.
Federer has also been very kind and supportive towards his motherland. In the past, he has advertised and promoted Switzerland like no other. From clicking pictures and videos in the Alps, mountains to country side, the 39-year-old has left no stone unturned.
Roger promotes Swiss tourism
Now, Federer has joined forces with Robert De Niro to promote Switzerland Tourism. Speaking about the same, Livio Dainese, the Co-CEO and Creative Director of Wirz said, “Roger Federer is exactly the down-to-earth guy you would expect. Simply a nice person who is also incredibly talented and successful,” said the Creative Director.
Wirz is an advertising agency from Switzerland that created the recent Switzerland Tourism initiative. In the past, Federer has also been very generous in doing plenty of charity work in South Africa, helping children with education and food. Incidentally, Federer’s mother, Lynette hails from the rainbow nation.
