Judging by the reactions of the fans, T.J. Oshie will likely remain in the spotlight for a while. Speaking on him, Oshie is currently out of the Washington Capitals team due to medical reasons.
The veteran forward has been dealing with a chronic back injury which has placed him on the long-term injured reserve (LTIR) list. Last season he took part in 52 games and had 25 points (12 goals and 13 assists). The injury though is expected to keep him out for the entirety of the 2024-25 season, leading to talks about a potential retirement.
