Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were dealt a big blow yesterday when their ace pacer T Natarajan was ruled out of the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The left-arm bowler had played in the first two matches for his side this year before missing out on the next two games due to a knee issues. It was then revealed that the injury was serious and hence, a surgery would be required, meaning Natarajan will miss the remainder of the season.

SRH have won just one of their first four matches and it would certainly be a big loss for them. Last season, Natarajan had his breakout season as he earned a reputation for delivering yorkers at will. He then went on to play for India across all three formats in Australia and has become an integral part of the T20 set-up. Although SRH have Khaleel Ahmed as a like-for-like replacement who has also performed well, Natarajan’s absence is bound to be felt.

I don’t have more words to say. I wish Sunrisers win each and every match from now on. Best wishes.”
