LaMelo Ball was born in Anaheim California to former basketball players LaVar Ball and Tina Ball. His interest in the sport began at a very young age while playing alongside his siblings. He played his freshman year at Chino Hills High School, in California. Ball initially skipped his final year only to return later and complete his schooling.
