Leylah Fernandez is a Canadian player who is seen as one of the future leaders of the Tour. She was born on 6 September 2002 in Montreal, Canada to parents Irene and Jorge Fernandez. She turned Pro in 2019 having won the Wimbledon Junior Grand Slam event. Yet to break into the Top 10, she achieved her career-high rank of World No. 13.
