Arman Tsarukyan is an Armenian-Russian MMA fighter. Tsarukyan is a high-level wrestler and grappler. He competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the Lightweight division. Tsarukyan holds dual citizenship with Armenian and Russian passports.

Arman Tsarukyan is ranked in the top 10 of the Lightweight division. On September 25, 2015, he made his professional debut against Shamil Olokhanov and won by technical knockout in the first round. Tsarukyan fought for mixed martial arts promotions in Russia and Asia until the UFC called in 2019. He won 13 fights with ten finishes, including a first-round submission victory against Belikh to avenge his first loss.

He faced the mighty Islam Makachev (Current Lightweight Champion) in his debut. Arman Tsarukyan lost the bout via decision in a hard-fought battle. After the loss, he put on a five-fight win streak with two finishes. He has a credible skill set to compete for a UFC title in the future. In the future, he might rematch Islam Makachev for the Lightweight title if he continues winning. He also aims to be the UFC’s first Champion of Armenian descent.
