He is the grandson of RCR owner Richard Childress, and his father, Mike Dillon, is the team’s managing director. He was born in Lewisville, North Carolina, on April 27, 1990. He, alongside his brother Ty Dillon, who is also a NASCAR Cup driver, owns Team Dillon Management, a professional driver management firm. He was featured in the Reality Show Austin Dillon’s Life in the Fast Lane with his wife, Whitney Ward, and son.
